Questiva Consultants is delighted to introduce you to our latest textbook series, QuickBooks Online Fundamentals and QuickBooks Online Complete.
Authored by Alicia Katz Pollock, a Top 10 QuickBooks ProAdvisor with a Master of Arts in Teaching, these two books were built on the same foundation as our classic textbooks for QuickBooks Desktop software, originally conceived by Doug Sleeter.
Both of our new QuickBooks curriculum releases are a modern take on the traditional accounting software that you know and love. The lessons use the same step-by-step learning approach, with clear explanations for where to look, what to click, and how each tool works. The text also features best practices gleaned from experience.
QuickBooks Online Fundamentals walks students through the basics of using QuickBooks Online, starting with file setup, demonstrating common daily income and expense workflows, and ending with running reports. The eight chapters are perfect for eight- to ten-week classes.
QuickBooks Online Complete continues the training with more advanced topics including inventory management, payroll, projects and job costing, and year-end procedures. The 15 chapters are designed for semester-long classes.
All the chapters take advantage of Intuit’s sample company, a free public “sandbox” file where users can play around with the software and it resets every time.
Both books include additional case studies so that students can practice their skills with real-world scenarios. The end-of-chapter Apply Your Knowledge exercises reinforce the step-by-step lessons. There is also an additional hands-on midterm and final project allowing students to put their new knowledge to the test.
Supplementary materials include an Instructor’s Manual, answer key, PowerPoint slide decks, and exams that can be imported into your favorite Learning Management System.
The world is moving into cloud-based accounting solutions. Guide your students in learning the job skills they will need to succeed in the modern world.
