Lite fits a quarter or an intro course, and its lessons need no QuickBooks account. Standard fits a full semester and adds job costing, inventory, year-end and payroll, and the work in companies students build themselves: every DIY exercise, plus the YinYang case study and capstone. You choose the course length when you set up a class, and you can change it later.
Not for the Lite lessons. They practice in Craig’s Landscaping, Intuit’s free sample company. Standard has each student build companies of their own, so they need a QuickBooks Online account. Teachers get free Student Trial accounts through Intuit Education and invite each student.
